Payments
Centaur works with consultants across the globe. Depending on your setup, payments may be processed through different tools. Please read carefully to understand which process applies to you.
Independent Consultants
If you are engaged with Centaur directly as an independent consultant, your payments will be processed through one of our payment platforms: Multiplier or Gusto. Which tool you use will depend on your country and engagement type.
Payment via Multiplier
If Centaur has told you that you will be paid through Multiplier.
Onboarding process (summary):
- You will receive an email invitation from Multiplier.
- Follow the instructions to set up your contractor account (this includes entering your personal and bank details).
- Once your information is verified, you will be able to receive payments directly through Multiplier.

Payment via Gusto
If Centaur has told you that you will be paid through Gusto.
Onboarding process (summary):
- Centaur will add your email address to Gusto.
- You will then receive an email from Gusto prompting you to set up your account.
- Enter your personal and payment details (some fields may already be pre-filled).
- Once setup is complete, you will be able to receive payments via Gusto.

Consultants Through Partner Agencies
If you are engaged with Centaur through a staffing or sourcing partner, your payments will be handled directly by that partner agency. Please coordinate with them for all payment-related questions and updates.
Troubleshooting
- Didn’t receive your invite email? Check your spam/junk folder. If it’s not there, contact Centaur for a resend.
- My payment setup is stuck/pending: For Multiplier: contact Multiplier Support For Gusto: contact Gusto Support
- I set up my account but still haven’t received payment: Confirm with Centaur which platform you are being paid through. Ensure your details (bank info, tax info, email) are correct and up to date in Gusto or Multiplier.
- If payments are through a partner agency, please check directly with the partner.
