Slice-to-Slice Annotation Duplication
Slice-to-slice annotation duplication functionality allows you to copy and paste annotations within a single frame to other frames. This functionality supports both individual and multiple annotation selections and is accessible via right-click context menus and keyboard shortcuts.

Copying Annotations
Users can copy annotations using the following methods:
Single Annotation Copy:
- Click on an annotation to select it.
- Right-click on the selected annotation and choose "Copy" from the context menu.
- Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) + c.
Multiple Annotation Copy:
- Shift-Click Selection:
- You can select multiple annotations by holding down the shift key and clicking on each desired annotation.
- Select All:
- You can select all annotations on a particular slice by using the keyboard shortcut Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) + a.
- Alternatively use "Select All" from the context menu to select all annotations on a slice.
- Once multiple annotations are selected, those can be copied by choosing “Copy” from the context menu or using keyboard shortcut (Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) + c).
Pasting Annotations
You can paste copied annotations using the following methods:
Right-Click Paste (on one frame):
- Navigate to the target frame where the annotations are to be pasted.
- Right-click on the viewport and choose "Paste" from the context menu.
Right-Click Paste (to all frames in the series):
- Right-click on the viewport on any frame and choose "Paste" from the context menu.
Keyboard Shortcut Paste (one one frame):
- Navigate to the target frame.
- Use the keyboard shortcut Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) + v.
Keyboard Shortcut Paste (to all frames in the series):
- On any frame, use the keyboard shortcut Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) + Shift + v to paste the copied annotations to all frames in the series.
Additional Notes
- Undo/Redo functionality works on a per-paste basis.
- Example: All the annotations pasted on a single paste operation will be removed by a single "Undo".
- Performing a new copy action will automatically override any previously copied Annotations. Only the most recently copied selection will be available for pasting.
- Selection and copying are restricted to annotations within a single slice at a time.
- Annotations cannot be copied to a different series.
